Choristers

Choristers is our intermediate all girls training choir directed by Margie Camp.

• Singers must be at least in the 4th grade
• At least one year of choral experience is highly recommended
• Singers should be able to:
  - sing in tune
  - sing in the treble range
  - have a basic understanding of music reading
• Rehearsals are once a week for 105 minutes
• During rehearsals we focus on:
  - vocal technique that is unique to girl singers
  - developing the musical ear
  - becoming versitile singers
• Concerts are at Newman Center for the Performing Arts in December and May
• Additional performances may include:
  - school tours
  - choral festival
• Singers participate in a day long choir retreat in the fall
