Signature

Signature is a highly selective performing group directed by Young Voices' founder and artistic director, Jena Dickey.

• Signature is comprised of members of the Concert Choir
• Singers are selected through an audition process
• In order to be eligible to audition, a singer must have been in Concert Choir for at least one year
• Singers must be able to:
  - sing in tune throughout the treble range
  - sing in their treble voice effectively
  - sing a part alone while another part is being sung
  - sight read basic patterns in solfege
  - demonstrate a desire to further develop sight reading skills
• Rehearsals are twice a week, each for 90 minutes
• Singers have a 100% agreement, promising each other their very highest level of commitment
• Concerts are at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts in December and May
• Signature is in high demand throughout the Denver area. Additional performances may include:
  - conventions
  - clubs
  - corporations
  - school tours
  - music festivals
  - Sing A Mile High Children's Choral Festival
  - biennial international summer tours
• Singers participate in a two day overnight choir retreat in the fall
