Honor Choirs

The American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) and the Organization of American Kodåly Educators (OAKE) recognize outstanding individual singers and invite them to participate in Honor Choirs directed by internationally renowned conductors. Through competitive auditions, over 100 members of Young Voices of Colorado have been chosen for this honor during the past 20 years. Each of them learned and memorized the difficult music literature, traveled to convention sites out of state, and participated successfully in three to four days of rehearsal and performances. They are among the nation’s best!
